Welcome to Summer 2025. Here is what I have been up to!
Starting with my second image from my series on the seasons
Model: Tayah Fuller
Makeup Artist: Lexie Koutsos
I am really enjoying this personal project. Working with a team of models, MUA’s, and retouchers has been fun. Recreating this beach scene in my studio wasn’t as hard as I thought. Just a plastic sheet, two types of sand, and some seashells.
This was the first time I worked with this model. I found her on instagram and reached out. We talked over video once but she had never met me in person till she came to my basement studio in an old storage facility, and saw me laying a large plastic sheet on the floor….well, it was a strange first introduction.
Her mother was with her (as I encourage all models to bring a companion to any photoshoot), and we laughed and talked Dexter for a bit. #iykyk
Planning Fall and Winter already, and while I can fake snow, I want to use real fall leaves so I will have to wait for them.
All good things.
Products
Summertime is anything but lazy for me. I mentioned in my last newsletter that the product side of my photography business has been hurt by the current tariff situation….so I started reaching out to more small business and was contacted by the owner of Moylings, an organic clothing store for babies/toddlers. They are adding looseleaf tea to their offerings, and asked me to do some simple, but effective images.

La Segura’s Airport Dinner
10 Furlong Dr, Revere, MA 02151
My friend Jeff, who is a pilot, and one of the rare people that reads this so is probably laughing right now, once told me that airport diners have some of the best food, and this proves him right. This one on the north shore serves not only breakfast and sandwiches but also has a delicious Dominican bent to it.

Cafe Saint-Germain
118 Beacon St, Somerville, MA 02143
Website not updated yet.
Just came back from Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix (that’s not a humble brag, it’s a regular brag), so I thought I had my fill of French food, I was of course, wrong. This cute cafe in Cambridge is owned by Loic Le Garrec who also owns one of my fav Boston restaurants Petit Robert Bistro so I knew this would be great. Atmosphere, food, service…..for the first time I wish I lived closer to Cambridge.

El Centro Mexican Restaurant
472 Shawmut Ave, Boston, MA 02118
I know I always talk about how I like my tacos like I like my drugs, cheap and out the back of a truck (just kidding folks), but I also like them when done right. El Centro has elevated Mexican food, and street favorites as well. All in a refined atmosphere with killer drinks. I am lucky they have a second location near me in addition to this one.

Ahem - I read all your posts too. I love them, and your photos keep getting better! I just wish I could print them out on a 3D printer and eat them. :)
Very cool picture!
